Harper Industries traces its roots to 1946, when James Harper launched his first retail propane operation in Jesup, GA. Through grit, vision, and strong relationships, he grew that business into a large multi-company retail operation across the Southeast-laying the foundation for what would come next.

In 1973, Harper Industries was established as a wholesale propane supplier, bringing that same experience and customer-first mindset to retailers across the region. Today, the company is still family owned and operated and remains headquartered in the original Jesup location where it all began.

Nearly 80 years later, Harper continues to serve its customers with a focus on reliability, responsiveness, and relationships-because great business still comes down to treating people right.
